Focusing in a Way that Feels Good

Author : Dave Trager
How can we tell which direction we are going in life? Towards what is wanted, or un-wanted? Simple. We have very powerful guidance that sends very pleasurable signals to us when we are focusing in a way that is going in a direction that we would call "good", and we receive impulses that start off unpleasant, and end up being so powerful that it makes us want to vomit when we continue to go down a path that is not going to be pleasing to us when we get there. So what does it mean to "focus"? In every moment, we have a choice. We can observe something, remember something, imagine something… And we have a choice to imagine, observe, or remember something that feels good, or something that feels bad. We become the deliberate creators of our own reality when we are tending to that feeling, and deliberately choosing things that feel good, on every subject, in as many moments as possible. So it is not necessary that we control every thought, but it is necessary that we pay attention to our guidance, or feelings. If things are feeling good, and you are really in that flow of pure positive energy, and everything is just magically unfolding—one delightful thing after the other—you are on a path that is going to be very pleasing when you get there, so keep going! But when you are on that path, and all of a sudden you get a feeling like someone just took the wind out of your sails, you need to do something about it immediately. The goal here is to become so sensitive to the way you feel that you notice these little dips, and correct it then.If we ignore the dips (which barely even feel bad), then it will snowball and feel worse and worse, until you have no choice but to realize that all of a sudden (which really wasn't "all of a sudden") you feel horrible! =)But when we become very sensitive to your own vibration, or feeling—you can tweak it with ease thru focusing. That means releasing the resistant thought, or if you can't do that, focus on something else entirely. Remember something that makes your heart sing every time, imagine the way you want it to be, or try and meditate, focus on your breath until you naturally begin to feel better as the "cork begins to float", and go from there! It all starts with a decision to be selfish enough that nothing is more important than that *I* feel good. And right away, you will feel relief. And if this is your intention, and this is what you are seeking, you will find it. And things begin to snowball in that direction. You remember something that makes you smile, then you pick up a book that makes you feel good, and now you are really moving. And once the universe sees that this is what you want, and you are someone who wants nothing more than to feel good—then you are really in the flow, because all-that-is is now going all out to make sure you get this chosen experience. It soon becomes effortless, and now that you know the power of your own focus, you remember these moments with gratitude and appreciation before bed. Then you have wonderful, lucid dreams, and wake up remembering: Nothing is more important than that I feel good today. You go out of your way to make your morning extra special, and before you know it, you are allowing so much well-being into your experience that your desires are coming to you almost effortlessly."It is our desire that you become one who is happy with that which you are and with that which you have—while at the same time being eager for more. That is the optimal creative vantage point: To stand on the bring of what is coming, feeling eager, optimistic anticipation—with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or unworthiness hindering the receiving of it—that is the Science of Deliberate Creation at its best." ~Abraham-HicksDave Trager is founder and CEO of FeelGoodVibes.com
